We are fully qualified speech and language therapists with a total of over 40 years experience working in this field



Rosemary Doherty


Rosie qualified as a speech and language therapist in 1972 after training in London at UCL. She has worked in a wide range of hospital, community and education settings throughout her career as an NHS therapist. She was a service manager for 15 years and a Team leader for 7 years before becoming a private practitioner.

She has extensive experience from her work in Nottingham, London, Norwich and the Great Yarmouth and Suffolk Areas, with a wide range of difficulties which include children and adults with neurological difficulties (progressive neurological disorders, stroke, head injury, cerebral palsy) and voice disorders, children with special educational needs, for example: complex language difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, literacy problems.

She is an accredited trainer and supervisor. She has a strong belief in working collaboratively with teaching staff, and therapists as well as carers.



Aaron Davis

Aaron worked as a teacher before training as a speech and language therapist at City University, London, where he qualified in 2001. He gained experience working in various NHS settings in Islington, Haringay and Barnet and at the Connect Centre for adults who have suffered a stroke.

He has since worked in Norwich and North Norfolk for the NHS Primary Care Trust and latterly as a private practitioner and in collaboration with Suffolk Southern Area Education Authority, where he has gained extensive experience working with children with Special Needs, in particular: Autism Spectrum Disorder, complex language problems and literacy difficulties, children with Down Syndrome and muscle based difficulties. He is also trained in the Lidcombe method working with children who stutter. He has particular interest in the impact of speech and language difficulties on learning to read and write and the psychological impact of communication difficulties.

Aaron has also worked as a supervisor / facilitator with speech and language therapists and students.
